STUDY AND MATHEMATICAL MODELING OF A LITHIUM-ION BATTERY

This study considers existing methods of mathematical modeling lithium-ion batteries based on the Shepherd formula, as well using formulas from general course physics. In order to measure experimental data in automatic mode, a special measuring facility was developed, main element setup is programmable platform ATmega328p microprocessor. It controls process, measures voltage battery and transmits computer every 5 seconds via UART interface microprocessor for further analysis. On basis obtained, an dependence discharge by direct current over certain peri-od time built. followed calculation capacity. The load 20 resistors connected series-parallel, dissipate thermal power released them when electric flows. Since are carbon with precision accuracy class, heating does not raise ambient temperature more than 10 degrees. Thus any change their resistance can be neglected. values obtained were used implement test model MATLAB/Simulink simulation environment. results showed similarity ide-alized model, since standard deviation all points this 2.6%.
